Audit Senior / Supervisor

Job Description for Qualified Individuals

Assist audit in planning, fieldwork, and delivery of services to clients.

Preparation of audit workpapers and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted account principles.

Review work performed by team members providing constructive feedback.

Answer technical and procedural questions, training, and mentoring team members.

Ensure compliance with established firm quality control procedures.

Assist clients with potential mergers and acquisitions by analysis information, calculating key ratios, identifying areas of savings, etc.

Build strong working relationship with clients.

 

Must possess the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.

CPA Certification.

5+ years of public accounting experience.

Experience in performing audits, reviews and compilations of for-profit entities, and not-for-profits organizations.

Ability to research pronouncements and the proper application to client situations.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Desire for challenging work and career advancement.

 

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Qualifications for the position include:

Five to seven years of public accounting experience.

A CPA certificate or be in the process of pursuing same.

Experience in the performance of audits, reviews, and compilations.

Tax return preparation for individuals and corporations.

 

Qualifications for the position include:

Three to five years of relevant bookkeeping experience through general ledger, including preparation of payroll tax returns and Form 1099’s.

Preparation of 140 and corporate tax returns.

Knowledge of QuickBooks, MS Excel, Word and familiarity with tax software.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

(Part-Time)

Palmer CPA firm seeks experienced full-charge bookkeeper for approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Qualifications for the position include:

Three to five years or relevant bookkeeping experience through general ledger.

Knowledge of QuickBooks and familiarity with MS Excel and Word.

Good communication skills to assist with answering telephone calls.

Provide assistance with other administrative duties.

Ability to prepare tax returns a real plus.

Salary commensurate with experience.
