Senior Tax Manager

Job Description for Qualified Individuals

Review and preparation of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses (1120's and 1065's), fiduciary trusts, estates, and exempt organizations.

Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client businesses.

Prepare internal memoranda, written correspondence, and other documents for submission to the IRS or Treasury Department.

Manage multiple clients, including budgeted hours.

Staff training.

Must possess the following: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

CPA Certification.

8 - 10+ years prior experience in public accounting tax experience.

Experience in reviewing and preparing income tax returns listed in Job Description.

Research skills required - must be able to summarize tax topics and reach a conclusion.

Significant supervisory experience.

Strong accounting and analytical skills.

Strong computer skills: proficiency in Tax software, Excel, and Word.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.

 

Audit Senior / Supervisor

Job Description for Qualified Individuals

Assist audit in planning, fieldwork, and delivery of services to clients.

Preparation of audit workpapers and financial statements in accordance with generally accepted account principles.

Review work performed by team members providing constructive feedback.

Answer technical and procedural questions, training, and mentoring team members.

Ensure compliance with established firm quality control procedures.

Assist clients with potential mergers and acquisitions by analysis information, calculating key ratios, identifying areas of savings, etc.

Build strong working relationship with clients.

Must possess the following:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

CPA Certification.

5+ years of public accounting experience.

Experience in performing audits, reviews and compilations of for-profit entities, and not-for-profits organizations.

Ability to research pronouncements and the proper application to client situations.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Desire for challenging work and career advancement.
